Adidas Busenitz Pro in Maroon - Fresh out tha box baby!

It took me 10 years to finally buy a pair of Adidas sneakers. As a nike-head I never was into Adidas that much, but the Adidas Busenitz Pro's are such freakin' mad clean and classic shoes - I just had to get them!

Do I stay true to Nike? Well, not if Adidas continues to make such sick kicks...

Sneaker of the Century - Nike Air Max 1

Developed by Mark Parker and designed by Tinker Hatfield, this is the shoe that dared to be different. By contrasting bold red with clean white, the shoe showcased the first ever Visible Air unit, and boasted a new midsole foot frame, heel notch and lace locks, making the Air Max 1 a bubbling cauldron of Nike innovation.

The Air Max 1 is also sometimes know as Air Max ’87 as the sneaker was released in 1987.

In my opinion still the undisputed "Godfather" of sneakers - period. I remember the day when I found a pair of these in my father’s closet when I was about 14 years old and it was love at first sight. However after wearing them all the time, some day I had to toss them away as they sadly fell apart.

The original colorways White/Sports Red/Neutral Grey and White/Varsity Royal/Neutral Grey are still one of the dopest kickz ever.

In 2009 Nike re-released them in the original colorways as a Quickstrike Release. Of course I instantly needed to oder some pairs in both colorways as I've waited years for one of these pairs to be re-released.
